3D Modeling Course:
Learn Constructive Solid Geometry

The self-paced and self-graded interactive hands-on 3D Modeling course in NCLab is the first of its kind (U.S. Patent Pending 14/172475). It is 100% web browser based and does not require any other software. It resembles a computer game as students beat levels and earn points and certificates. The course emphasizes fundamental math and geometry skills that students can apply to any software. Students who take the 3D Modeling course in NCLab are known to improve their math scores, and to be able to quickly transition to any commercial 3D modeling software.

Course Syllabus

Download the course syllabus either by clicking on the thumbnail on the left or on this link. The course consists of 147 game levels and 21 creative projects. It is divided into five Units. Each Unit consists of five Sections and each Section has seven game levels and one creative project. Students will earn the White Belt, Yellow Belt, Purple Belt and Black Belt Certificates.

Textbook

The course comes with a PDF textbook “Introduction to 3D Modeling – A Project-Based Approach”. The textbook closely follows the structure of the self-paced online course, and it provides more detailed explanations of all concepts as well as many additional examples.
