APPLICANT has completed the assessment on their own, and their grades reflect their readiness to succeed in your organization.
The results are as follows:
Total Assessment Grade: 91%
Scores in the 80-100 range in the categories below indicate that applicants will be successful in acquiring and applying new knowledge in new and/or changing work environments. Scores in the 65-80 range indicate that they may struggle, and scores under 65 indicate that they may find it extremely difficult to do well. These results are powerful and can help you immediately start identifying which applicants are best suited for your hiring needs.
Other Considerations
This assessment is just one way of assessing an applicant’s desire and ability to succeed. The applicant’s attendance at all interview sessions, completion of requested tasks in a timely manner, and proactive communication are some additional factors to consider.
- Perseverance: 100%
This category evaluates the ability to persevere through difficulties and finish what the applicant started. The Employment Readiness Assessment is not quick and easy. Applicants spend anywhere from one to three hours working on the tasks it presents and have to push through as concepts get increasingly more complex. If an applicant relies too heavily on the assessment platform’s help in doing their work tasks, we are able to see that they may not have the level of perseverance needed to perform tasks they are assigned in the future.
- Attention to Detail: 100%
This category indicates whether the applicant can read and understand written instructions, follow procedures, and pay attention to detail. This is vital in any detail-oriented work task where accuracy is important. We measure every attempt the person makes to solve tasks in the assessment, so we can see if they pick up on the smaller details needed to complete each level, and score this skill accordingly.
- Problem Solving: 95%
This category indicates the ability of the applicant to understand tasks, make plans, and solve problems using newly acquired knowledge. Because everything in the assessment is unique to NCLab, we know that applicants haven’t worked with this material before. Therefore, their performance on the assessment illuminates whether or not they are able to interpret the questions posed and work to find a solution, even if they do not immediately get it right.
- Abstract Reasoning: 75%
This category evaluates the ability to infer, examine, and choose the best option based on what has been learned. With this skill, applicants show us that they can choose the best option to move forward when presented with a problem based on what they have learned about similar situations in the assessment itself. A high grade here means that the applicant has shown that they can imagine unique, complex situations and think through each outcome logically to find the best solution.
