What is the NCLab EMPLOYMENT READINESS ASSESSMENT?

The EMPLOYMENT READINESS ASSESSMENT is a 2-hour task-based “learn-and-apply” hands-on assessment that provides insight into individuals’ attention to detail, comprehension of written instructions, ability to apply newly-acquired knowledge, problem-solving skills, adaptability and perseverance needed to thrive in any organization.

The assessment takes individuals outside of their comfort zone and sees how they perform. It is not a questionnaire and does not measure prior knowledge or include math. The only requirements are basic English reading skill and keyboarding ability. Virtually anybody can take the assessment.

Unlike traditional assessments, this tool evaluates key competencies without relying on past experience, making it an ideal resource for objective, informed decision making, and because it is task-based, it prevents the use of AI platforms to provide the answers the employer is looking for.
