We had the pleasure to provide a one-day STEM workshop for 15 international teachers under the Teaching Excellence Achievement Program at the University of Nevada, Reno. These teachers came from various parts of the world including South Africa, Nigeria, India, Philippines, Jordan, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and others. We used the new NCLab Playground with login-free access to selected apps from NCLab’s Creative Suite, to go over an introduction to computer programming with Karel the Robot and an introduction to 3D modeling. At the end, every teacher received a 3D print of a model they built. This was an awesome experience as always – computer programming and 3D modeling are skills that adult learners enjoy the same way students do! Few sample pictures from the workshop are below:
