3D Printing Native Indian Symbols

Today I had the pleasure to visit an awesome art exhibit of Ms. Tia Flores, a renowned Reno artist who specializes in burning native Indian motives on surfaces of gourds (check her site Calabazaart )

I realized that many of the native Indian symbols are beautifully simple geometric patterns:

So, when I came home I made a few of them using the free Turtle Tina app from NCLab’s Playground. Took me just a few minutes and they are ready for 3D printing. Here is the Sun, Path, and the Hogan. Click on any of them to see the Turtle Tina code and run it yourself!
