NCLab’s In-Depth Skills Training Makes People Job-Ready.

Enhance your current offerings with NCLab’s college-level skills-based career training programs that make students job-ready, at a time when there is a dearth of job-ready candidates available for employers to recruit. After all, well over 95% of job openings require practical experience that only skills-based training programs like ours can provide.

Because NCLab’s learn-by-doing career training programs build job skills, they fill a role that degree programs focused on a broad and theoretical understanding simply cannot fill, and because NCLab training is web-based and self-paced, it is also very attractive to non-traditional enrollees.

NCLab’s proprietary Artificial Intelligence-based teaching platform delivers bite-sized knowledge that is immediately followed by hundreds of hands-on mini projects, during which it watches trainees’ every step, grading their work in real-time, and helping them with contextual information, hints, and templates, as needed.

Individualized instructional support supplements the teaching platform, the result being graduates who are job-ready to fill high-demand jobs with large starting salaries.

NCLab Collaboration Approaches

We use two primary collaboration approaches to make our turnkey curricula available to CTE schools.

One approach, instructor-led-training, has your instructor(s) take the training so that they are in a position to perform all instructional activities, alongside the AI-based teaching platform.

The other approach involves incorporating NCLab training programs into your current offerings and having NCLab perform all instructional activities.

In both approaches, when students complete the training, they qualify to take industry-recognized certifications that employers put major emphasis on and employers who appreciate the value of our training are queued up in our recruitment portal to interview graduates.

NCLab Turnkey Career Training Curricula

Following are short descriptions of NCLab’s turnkey training programs.

“Automation Technician Career Training”

Automation is taking over manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, banking, retail, logistics, and many other areas by storm. While many jobs are being replaced by automation, there’s a whole new world of higher paying jobs opening up for workers who are willing to put in the effort to add value in this new world.

Unfortunately, people who would love to make a step up into these types of work do not have the skills that they need to have. Those needed skills are many and include both hard skills and people skills.

In 160 hands-on hours, trainees master foundational Industry 4.0 automation-related hard skills that include Workplace Math, Working with Data, Machine Programming, Spatial Reasoning, (and Blueprint Reading, Introduction to CNC, Introduction to Electricity, Introduction to Hydraulics, and Introduction to Mechanics, as electives); they are the hard skills that employers want new hires to have.

Trainees also learn foundational soft skills that include, among others, problem solving, attention to detail, critical and logical thinking, professional communication, time management, perseverance, and adaptability that employers expect them to have when they apply.

Upon completing the program, trainees will have shown that they are able to learn and apply new knowledge that their new jobs will require and they have acquired the foundational hard and soft skills needed to be very effective Automation Technicians. Graduates are also fully prepared to pass industry-recognized certifications, including ACT’s Workkeys NCRC (National Career Readiness Certificate) and TOSA’s spreadsheet certification exams. Finally, employers who appreciate the value of our training have queued up in our recruitment portal and want to interview graduates.

“Data Analyst Career Training”

At a time when virtually all enterprises have now reached “data overload” and need Data Analysts to help them make sense of the massive amounts of data so that management can make better and faster decisions, NCLab’s Data Analyst Career Training program makes it possible for individuals to land high-pay Data Analyst jobs.

Whether it be market research, sales figures, logistics, or transportation costs, every business collects data. Data Analysts take that data and convert it into information that helps management make better and faster business decisions, such as how to price new materials, how to reduce transportation costs, or how to deal with issues that cost the company money.

Students need approximately 320 hands-on hours, based on their background, to complete this program. Individual courses are semester-length and two parallel tracks can be followed to complete the training in one school year.

When students graduate, they have the knowledge, practical experience, competency, and confidence to get great jobs. They have a professional portfolio to demonstrate their qualifications to potential employers and they are fully prepared to take Comptia’s DATA+ industry-recognized certification exam. Finally, employers who appreciate the value of our training have queued up in our recruitment portal and want to interview graduates.

“Python  Developer Career Training”

At a time when indeed.com lists over 87,000 unfilled Python Programmer positions in the U.S., NCLab’s Python Developer career training program makes it possible for individuals to land high-pay Python Programmer jobs.

Python is the most popular programming language for applications in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Finance, and other areas. Big players like Quora, Facebook, YouTube, SlideShare, Dropbox, Pinterest, Reddit, and Netflix have most of their new code written in Python.

While many Python programming training programs are targeted at individuals with a strong math background, prior programming experience, and/or a certain level of formal education, this Python Developer career training program is unique in the way its prerequisites are about trainees’ ability to learn, their motivation, and their willingness to work hard, rather than their prior knowledge. That is only possible because it starts at a foundational level for people who need to start there, at no additional cost.

Students need approximately 320 hands-on hours to complete this program. Individual courses are semester-length and two parallel tracks can be followed to complete the training in one school year.

When students graduate, they have the knowledge, practical experience, competency, and confidence to get great jobs. They have a professional portfolio to demonstrate their qualifications to potential employers and they are fully prepared to take the Python Institute’s industry-recognized PCEP certification exam. Finally, employers who appreciate the value of our training have queued up in our recruitment portal and want to interview graduates.
