You can now explore fractals in your web browser, for free, and as much as you like! NCLab has a new Fractal app that features the Mandelbrot and Julia sets. There are sliders to easily change the parameters, creating many beautiful fractal images. You can zoom in using the mouse wheel and experience the thing that makes fractals famous – repeating patterns on small scales. Besides the standard computational procedure based on an iterative formula, there is also a cool Art based on the Monte Carlo method.
