NCLab’s infrastructure is undergoing large changes at the moment. Most of them are related to the file system which is emulated using a distributed database. Most of this work will be invisible to the user, but it will have very positive effects on further NCLab development. And, some of these changes will be visible to the user as well. File Manager will be displaying folders in the right panel, thumbnails for files, and file size. Users will be able to upload images and display them via an Image Viewer, and upload data files. There will be Trash so files deleted by mistake will not be lost anymore. New Latex module is in preparation, the only missing component is a PDF viewer. It remains to be seen whether we can squeeze it into the next release. So hold on, the new release is planned for the end of October.
