NNRPDP (Northern Nevada Regional Professional Development Program) adopted NCLab for teacher training. NCLab allows educators to bring into their classrooms new tools and methods to teach computer programming, math, geometry, 3D design, writing, and other subjects. This includes cool tricks such as using Karel the Robot to teach probability, using a CAD system to explain conic sections, or using LaTeX to prepare letters, flyers and presentations. For most teachers this was the first time they saw LaTeX, and some of them simply fell in love with it.
