The Employment Readiness Assessment (ERA) is a 1–2 hour hands-on “learn-and-apply” assessment that measures candidates’ cognitive agility before you hire—so as to avoid costly recruiting, onboarding, and training of individuals who will be underperformers.
The ERA complements existing assessments to objectively measure the capabilities that drive real-world performance. These include the ability to learn quickly, solve problems using new information, pay close close attention to detail, reason logically, and persist through challenges.

A New Type of Assessment
Traditional assessments focus on what candidates already know. The ERA reveals how candidates think, learn, and perform when faced with new challenges.
Because participants must actively learn and apply new concepts during the assessment, the ERA cannot be solved by AI or external tools. Success depends entirely on the individual’s own effort, reasoning, and persistence.
The only prerequisites are basic reading comprehension in English or Spanish and basic keyboarding skills, making the assessment accessible for a wide range of job openings.
