The NCLab Career Readiness Assessment is a free “learn-and-apply” hands-on assessment that helps determine your ability to be successful in automation-laden industries such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Warehousing and Distribution, Laboratories, and Agriculture.

Individuals who score high on the Assessment demonstrate their ability to follow instructions, learn new concepts and apply them, problem solve, pay attention to details, and persevere. These are the exact skills needed for strong job performance.

If you complete the assessment, you’ll be provided a certificate of completion and you can be confident that you’ll be able to successfully complete any workplace activities and career training that you set your mind to do.

If you get a high score, you will also qualify for any of the NCLab career training programs, since they all use the same engaging gamified teaching platform and include any foundational knowledge that you may not already have.

By doing well on the NCLab Career Readiness Assessment, you confirm that you have what it takes to complete the training programs below.

Automation Technician Training Program (160 hours)

This training program gives you the core automation skills to thrive in high-demand 21st century workplaces. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary. Upon graduation, you’ll be proficient in workplace math, data handling, machine programming, and spatial reasoning. You’ll also build success skills to problem solve; mind details; think logically and critically; persevere; communicate professionally; manage time; and adapt readily to change.

Data Analyst Career Training Program (320 hours)

Data analysts collect, process and analyze information to make better and faster decisions. Learn how to clean data, present it visually, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, provide interpretations, and make predictions. Upon successful completion, you’ll be ready to start your new career and to take the industry-recognized CompTIA Data+ certification exam.

Python Developer Career Training Program (320 hours)

Python is the most popular programming language for applications in data analytics, machine learning, AI, business, and finance. Upon completing the training, you’ll be ready to start a successful new career as a Python Developer, Python Programmer, or Python Engineer. You’ll also be ready to take the industry-recognized Python Institute PCEP certification exam.
